Comments:1305 - I thoroughly enjoyed the class. You don't really do all that much, but this is what a real "college" style class feels like. Lecture, discussion, paper (super easy) and test(also really easy). Seeing one of the other ratings here, I need to point out that I really like the fact that they got her to teach Sociology 1305. Her accent may be a little strong at first, but she actually provides an additional lens through an immigrant's perspective as well. You can say she's really lived through what she's teaching. I wouldn't say she's prejudiced in any way either. She always gives us a disclaimer that she's just giving us the course material and she's not here to push an agenda. I think that many people tend to get put on the spot (usually because they aren't paying attention) and end up getting offended hearing certain things in the lecture (even if she's just reading statistics off to us). Don't take sociology in general if you feel as though you will get offended hearing that your race is "more or less privileged" historically or something along those lines. If anything, that's a problem you have with the course and sociology in general, not any specific teacher.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Don't get me wrong, the class is easy. If you show up, you get an A. All tests were open note, open book, take home, no lockdown browser. However, if you have the traditional Baylor worldview, this class might set you on edge. Laderi is clearly prejudiced towards white people. She once said that white people are privileged and have everything handed to them. If you are anything but white, prepare to get majorly cold-called. She'll call you out in the middle of class and ask you to tell the class about your culture. She only does this based off of skin color. She also has some very controversial views (especially for Baylor) about gender, race, and sexuality, so if that's a hot topic for you, don't take this class. Easy class, not a pleasant experience for me. Get ready to be cold called no matter who you are.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Take Dr. Laderi!! She is very kind and helpful. Very easy A, there is never homework, tests/final are no lockdown browser. Towards the end of the semester, she usually ends class early.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:SOC 1305 - This is the easiest class I have ever taken. She usually lets the class out 20 minutes early and all the test and exams are online with no lockdown browser or webcam (take that as you will). You wont really learn that much in this class but if you want a free 98+ for your GPA then I would recomend it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Take her class! It's a super easy A. She knows it's an intro class and treats it like one. She would rather us learn about the topic in general than testing us on the nitty and gritty. She had two open-note exams, a final paper (3 pages), four writing assignments (300 words), and some extra credit. While she is hard to understand sometime, being from Niger, she is very nice and understanding. Be prepared to be possibly called out in class as I was twice the whole semester. Highly recommend taking her class as it is an easy A if you put the bare minimum effort into it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Dr. Laderi's class is a go-to if you want an easy GPA boost. Sociology, in general, is an easy concept to grasp, but Dr. Laderi makes it even easier by being a very lenient grader. Her tests are also online with no lockdown browser (so take that as you will). Overall, you barely have to do any work for the class. She assigns required readings but they aren't bad and technically you don't have to do them because she reviews the content in class anyway.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - This is not the class for you if you want to learn about sociology. She is really nice and its a very easy course, but I didn't learn anything.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - Dr. Laderi's class was by far the easiest class I took this semester. Her lectures were straight to the point and easy to follow. Her assignments were also easy, and I never received below an A on any assignment. For exams, they are take home with no lockdown browser. I would 100% recommend taking her class! She is so sweet and knowledgeable.   - Grade In Class:A
