*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:1321 - Extremely sweet teacher who really cares about her students. Her teaching ability is a little below average, but her exams are extremely easy, and she will go out of her way to make sure you understand the material outside of class. Overall, she cares about every single one of her students, and if you take advantage of her helpfulness, you can easily get an A. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1309 - Betty tries so hard to help her students succeed. I was not cut out for the class and that is not her fault. She has office hours almost everyday, and if you go in she will give you one on one help. She has three opportunities for "extra credit" where you go in and do a problem on the board for her, and for each problem you do, she adds 5 points onto your quiz scores. She will do everything in her power to help you if you are not doing well. She truly cares so much! I would still say to take this class at a cc if you're not typically amazing at math. - Grade In Class:C+
Comments:1309 - Betty Montero tries very hard to be available for her students in office hours. Her teaching style does take some time to get used to, but if you attend her office hours once or twice a week and study her quizzes for the exams you will make at least an 80-85 no problem. There is three exams and a final and about 12 quizzes (one per week). She is very willing to give homework extensions and round up homework grades as long as you ask in advance. She also drops the 2-3 lowest quiz grades and rounds up final grades. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1309 - Do not take her class. I recommend taking Calculus online at a community college if you don\'t like math. But, her teaching style is terrible and she\'s very hard to understand and comprehend what she\'s saying. She\'s a grad student too. - Grade In Class:B
