Comments:1321 - After failing calculus twice, this professor broke my streak. He explains things very simply and takes time to make sure everyone understands the topics. He does not post notes or videos so you will need to be consistent with attending class. There is no homework or attendance, but there are weekly quizzes. Quizzes are easy because he tells you exactly what is going to be on them. For exam prep make sure to use the practice problems given to you on past exams and you will be fine. He is a really nice guy and will def help you out if you go to office hours.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MTH1321 - Dr. Christopherson is awesome! He really knows his stuff and summed up calculus in 5 minutes on the first day of class. He's laid back and does a good job balancing easy and difficult examples, and introduces concepts carefully and with enough detail. He doesn't do notes or recordings, and everything is old-school on the board. His grading is pretty strict, but he basically tells you what to expect on exams.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1322 - Dr. Christopherson was an incredible professor, for a very difficult class. Calc 2 is no joke, but Dr. Christopherson teaches it very well. I was able to follow his lectures pretty well. I do think that overall, his class may be more difficult compared to other professors though. In the end, this can be helpful because his quizzes and exams will help you to be prepared for the final exam. He is also really good at giving partial credit. Take him if you value a good teacher but be prepared to study and work hard for your grade.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1322 - Christopherson is a fantastic professor. He explains the material clearly and thoroughly, although a little too quickly. This is made up for with office hours, however. He does not assign homework, besides the rare 'take home' quiz. I overall highly recommend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - Dr. Christopherson is is a great professor and knows exactly what he is doing. He really tries to make your life easier and make it very clear what you should expect on exams. Very good at explaining complicated concepts and always willing to help as much as you need. By far the best professor I have taken and also super funny and kind!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1321 - Dr. Christopherson is amazing. I was super nervous about calculus and he made learning calculus fun. You have a quiz every Tuesday and he lectures similar examples to the quiz questions in class the week before and he gives you canvas hints to the quizzes that prepare you well for them. He posts his office hours and is truly in his office at this time and is always available to help and work through textbook problems, homework problems, or review quizzes and tests. Every week you have homework questions on achieve and if you start them as he teaches the lessons then you will have no problem completing the homework on time. They generally take 1-2 hours a week which is a pretty light homework load for a calculus class. There are 3 tests and no drops so study a couple days before and go to SI. He gives test hints to the SI so make sure to attend the SI sessions. Dr. Christopherson is super kind and wants you to succeed in his class. He is an amazing professor!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - Best math professor I've ever had. He is so interested in his work, and you can tell he loves teaching. Brilliant too, he could literally lecture for over a hour with no notes. Tests are not that bad, and he is very fair.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - He's an incredibly kind and invested professor. He cares about his students and their performance, and he would make time for impromptu meetings/study sessions before exams. Lectures are easy to follow if you read the book before class, and his exams are always very fair. Just make sure to put in the work and you'll do fine.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - Very difficult class, since it is a weed out class. However, Prof Christopherson read solely from the textbook, giving one or two examples of a concept and moving on. There was not any time for questions during class and the homework was absolutely diabolical, with 40+ questions most times that took about 3-5 minutes per question. Wouldn't recomment  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:Math 1321 - He’s good. Dr Christopherson breaks down calc into a step-by-step process that makes it not too bad and he does tons of examples. The class is a lot of work but I’d def take him again.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1321 - Calc sucks but Dr Christopherson made it bareable. He gets you prepared for every quiz and exam and drops hints on Canvas and in class. Also really understanding and kind.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - If I could recommend anyone to not take a professor is this one. I am a freshman currently but I am in all Sophmore classes, but this one by far is the worst. Professor christophersons teaching ability is beyond awful. There really is no teaching ability here as he just immediately goes into examples without explanation of what we are covering. This is by far the worst math class I have had, and I know of multiple students who have withdrawn from this class this semester because of him.  - Grade In Class:B
