*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:SPA 1302 - This woman is a godsend to Spanish. She is great at teaching, extremely positive and upbeat, cares about all of her students and is a joy to be around. There is a reason she has such a high rating. I took her for spanish 2 and it was the perfect amount of teaching combined with interactive activities that make you retain the material. Don't forget to do SuperSite homework each day before class, it's super easy to forget but I forgot maybe 6 and was fine. She is very lenient on grading and really wants everyone to succeed. One exam average was too low (72ish) and so she gave everyone extra credit worth 6 points and changed up her teaching style after a survey. As long as you kind of pay attention (which is never an issue, since she is so engaging), you will get an A in her class. I never got lower than a 90 on any exam with extremely minimal studying (looking over my notes on the way to class 5 minutes before the exam). - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1302 LAB - TAKE HER FOR LAB!! Can not stress enough how awesome she was this semester. Such a sweet soul and genuinely wants you to succeed. She made our class go for about 50 minutes to an hour because she felt the hour 15 was pointless (we all do). All lab assessments were online and due that night at midnight. They were all easy A's as long as you put some effort in. Overall the best Spanish professor here. - Grade In Class:A
Comments:1301 - Profe Fraga is super kind, and her class is very doable if you have any prior knowledge of Spanish. However, be wary of her 93 for an A (I have yet to see any language have 90 as an A). Since she is fluent, when she lectures in Spanish, it can be difficult to follow what's going on! She is also very particular about participation, but her in-class activities are funny and engaging. Grade consists of three exams + final (no drops), homework due before each class, two written assignments, an oral interview (at the end of the semester), and 5% participation (attendance & interacting with class). She is really helpful and easy to talk to, so I definitely recommend her! - Grade In Class:A
