Comments:3302 - had her last year and am graduating now with a 4.0 and this was by far the worst class. non-responsive and uses slides from a textbook. poor teaching ability and extremely non-responsive. i emplore you to take anybody else. this is very deserved.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3302 - Intermediate 2 - Tricky review. On one hand, she is completely new and is a younger(ish) prof who just finished her PhD and is still getting her feet under as to how to actually teach. She doesn’t always provide the best/clearest explanations to your questions because she just hasn’t been at it that long. However, she is also teaching an extremely difficult class where the pace of going through material is wicked fast and exam grades are not forgiving. 
As for the structure, I was frustrated that there were no fill-in-the-blank notes, which were awesome for intermediate 1, but became following along with a weird, too-long PowerPoint for every chapter in this class. Plenty of people had iPads and didn’t seem to mind, but I really only was able to use a notebook for the problems we practiced in class and took some light notes in there. The homework isn’t bad, as you pretty much get an automatic 100% since she has it set to where it shows you the answers after a few incorrect guesses. The tests are really rough, quite honestly, especially since there is only 20ish MC and 2-3 workout problems weighted way more heavily, so there just isn’t hardly any room for error. For my semester, it was either her or Baldwin, and I’ve heard they stack up pretty similarly, so it’s tough to fully endorse or not endorse her. I also never really went to office hours, so I never really got to know her outside of the lecture setting. You’ll survive if you wind up with her, but not my favorite either.  - Grade In Class:B+
