Comments:1320 - He was amazing! Definitely depends on your learning style. He usually prints and hands out notes and his lecture consists of working out the problems on the notes ALONGSIDE you, step by step. So you learn the material while he walks you through doing it. If this is not your style, dont take him. Otherwise, he is very helpful and crystal clear with his explanations.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1320 - DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!! Look I have heard he gets a bit of hate for his accent which is nowhere near bad it is just a Spanish accent. Many people are just dramatic. The reason you should RUN AWAY from this course is because he CAN NOT TEACH! HE WILL LITERALLY STAND THERE EXPLAIN LIKE 2 QUESTIONS ON A BRAND-NEW TOPIC and leave the rest for HOMEWORK. Oh, and the HOMEWORKS hardly relate to what he even "teaches" in class. He gives homework almost every other day and they range from 10 to 20 questions. Each week there is around 3 quizzes maybe MAYBE even more. He creates the quizzes to be the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he goes over in class AND on the homework! His exams are just a whole other thing. He gives these HUGGGGGGEEEEEEE (80 to 100 questions) packets like 2-3 days before the exam to help you study. Which is a nice thought if they weren't given 2-3 days before and if it went with the exam AT ALLL!! Oh and he tends to kind of switch his method of teaching from time to time. Overall, if your strong suit isn't pre-cal or just math I would NOT recommend him to you. If you think you can handle it, you probably cant! If you take his course and thought it was a walk in the park good for you, I guess.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1320 - I LOVE mr.cruz!! yall he gets hate cuz he has an accent that takes a little bit to get used to but he is an amazing teacher. The class is not hard and he gives you so many rescources. I love the way that the class is set up. you have 1 quiz a week and you have homework due the night before the quiz, the quiz is litterally the EASIEST question on the homework so if you just do it the night before its a gaurenteed 100 on all the quizes. The tests are not bad and very straightforward. he doesnt try to trick you, he just gives you simple problems from each unit. The tests are on friday and he does a review session the wednesday before the test, and he records it in case you are not there. He gives a awesome study guide for the tests and he goes over at least one of each problem type during the review before the test so you can have an example when you are doing the study guide. He is also such a nice guy too, he is never in a bad mood and is lowkey just an innocent happy guy. He gives a lot of partial credit too, sometimes i would get the completely wrong answer but he would give me almost full points because of my work. He is a great guy and does not disserve bad ratings. I would totally recommend this class if you want not that much work(considering its a math class) and a very chill, caring teacher.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1309 - ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! Whatever you do, do NOT take him. He is the worst math professor I've ever had, and coming from me that's saying something. He doesn't teach. All of class you basically just stare at him while he's writing the equations. He doesn't review the notes and just moves on to the next part. And we have a quiz everyday in his class. He is not helpful whatsoever, I really could go on and on. For the exams, they're the worst. Even when you spend hours and hours studying, he will find a way to make sure nobody gets an A. He gives us NO time for anything at all. Let me save you, and do not take him. I worked so hard just to get a C, and don't be fooled, I put in the work.   - Grade In Class:C
