Comments:FIN 4365 - This was the first semester of him teaching at Baylor and since this is the first review for him I'll go pretty in depth. Going in I absolutely had my doubts about him. When I registered there was no professor listed but I had no choice but to take this section. In all honesty, I'm really glad I got to take this class with him. From what I know the Investments Analysis courses aren't usually insanely hard, but this class was so easy with him. 75% of your overall grade is based on exams which are so easy. He releases all the connect homework for each section and the exams are basically the 20 easiest questions from those and you are allowed to use way more formula sheets than you'll ever need. He does use a class Discord which I thought (maybe still do) was super odd to be using in a class and professional setting, but I messaged him on there with a question about homework late at night and he responded on there almost immediately. He also uses it to send random stocks or things going on in the market occasionally. At the beginning of the year his class was very awkward as his phrasing and the way he says things is confusing and he would ask the class a question that is super easy but worded weird but then he would just sit there and wait until someone said something, although I will say he got better about this as the year went on. A word of warning, please do not miss his class. He gets super mad and passive aggressive when people miss without emailing him or having a valid reason. One person in my section missed one class and then the next class day the prof said "Long time no see". Also he made us get in groups and make videos explaining how to do the homework which felt pointless since we knew we got the right answer and it just took time out of our day. I'm sure there's more I could write here to be helpful but I will say it's super easy to get an A in this class if you just show up, pay a little bit of attention, and do the homework. He's actually a super nice guy and wants everyone to do well even if he comes across a little awkward. I would recommend him if you need to take this class. - Grade In Class:A
