*A 5 star workload is an easy workload; a 3 star is average; whereas a 1 star workload is extremely hard.
Comments:1321 - Generally speaking he is a professor that wants the best for you and for you to succeed, HOWEVER, very mediocre when it comes to actually learning the content. The tests are wayy harder than the actual homework/content taught and you really need to put in the work every single day to get near an A in the class. Only dropped cuz as It was really hard to maintain above a 85 in the class. - Grade In Class:DROP
Comments:Calc 1 - This dude is the only reason I passed calculus. He understands how people think in a way none of my other professors have. Thanks so much professor Anderson. - Grade In Class:B
Comments:1321 - Mr. Anderson is fairly new to Baylor but I would most definitely recommend him for Calculus. He is very flexible and accommodating to his students and overall a good professor and person! You can tell he genuinely wants his students to succeed and is very passionate about mathematics. Baylor is NOTORIOUS for having a terrible math department. I know this from experience since I took Calc last semester with a different professor (flipped-learning) and ended up dropping the course due to how inconvenient it was having to watch the lectures on my own and basically teach myself the material. The only thing I would keep in mind if you decide to enroll in Mr. Anderson's class, is that some concepts may be difficult to understand in terms of how he words them, but after all, this is Calculus. His office hours also help with this. I highly HIGHLY recommend reading the textbook and DOING THE HOMEWORK. I scored significantly higher on assignments after I started doing these things. TLDR; take Mr. Anderson for Calculus and DO. THE. HOMEWORK. - Grade In Class:C+
