Comments:1310 - The GOAT. Lectures can be a little boring at times, but he makes up for it. Decently easy exams, he gives out a study guide of terms/people you need to know, and it's super helpful. Quizzes aren't bad at all. He does have these reflections, which are worth 30%, but they are to balance out exams, and they aren't even that bad. If you need scriptures, I cannot recommend him enough.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:REL 1310 - Take Professor Nessler!! His quizzes are open-note and his tests are all multiple choice. His lectures can be a little boring at times, but he will always bold what you need to know for the exam. He's super chill and I would definitely recommend taking him if you are looking for an easy class and easy A!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - If I could take this professor for all of my classes at Baylor I would dedicate my life as a Christian monk and seclude myself in the desert for decades praising the lord for blessing me with such a goated professor. His cunning tongue poetically sails through each section and topic in this class with ease. This class soothed my aching mind from the horrors of my core classes, healing me from the trauma. His class is what is keeping me enjoying life all the while I wait for the release of gta 6. If you dislike this professor then I highly despise you and wonder where your morality is at. The Holy Spirit within me gets giddy as I approach this class. I am proud to have glazed such a man with HONOR. I write this message for future bears to take a class with this soldier of Christ. And there also many other things that Brent did in class, if every one of them were written down, I suppose not even the world itself could contain the reviews that could be written.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - If you ever wondered what it would be like to have a college professor who looks like he stepped straight out of every inspirational-comedian-history-buff movie you’ve ever seen, allow me to introduce you to Professor Brent Nessler—the most goated REL professor Baylor has ever produced. First off: class vibes immaculate. Lectures? Yeah, they can get a little sleepy during content-heavy stuff, but that’s just college. It builds character. But Nessler makes up for it because the man drops study aids so powerful they should honestly be classified as academic steroids. He gives them two weeks ahead, you glance at it, and suddenly you’re pulling 95s on every test like it’s light work. Tests? • ~40 multiple-choice questions • Bonus at the end • Untimed • Most of the class escapes in 15 minutes • Literally the easiest A you’ll ever earn for just showing up No curve needed when the whole room is speedrunning the exam like it’s Mario Kart. Homework? He doesn’t know her. Quizzes? Open. Book. Weekly reflections? Low-key hard to ace but still lighter than a Chick-fil-A fry basket. And listen… the dude himself? LEGENDARY. He cancels class like a hero when life calls. He responds to emails like he’s waiting by the keyboard. He loves questions, genuinely wants to know his students, and somehow manages to make even the spicy parts of the Bible unexpectedly hilarious. When Scripture goes PG-13+? Nessler goes full stand-up comedian. If you're a freshman taking REL 1310 or 1350, do yourself a favor: TAKE NESSLER. He teaches things other religion profs wouldn’t dream of and makes it actually enjoyable—even when you walked in thinking it’d be mid. This man is the academic equivalent of a cheat code. A cinematic icon in human form. The professor every college show tries to imitate but fails. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - He is a great professor. He goes through the material on pace and makes sure everyone is on track. There are quizzes every day, but they are easy and you can do them in advance. I usually did a bunch on Sunday night. The workload is light too. He is always available to talk about the material outside class and any questions that you may have outside of the readings. He also explains exactly what the test will be over. Overall, a great teacher.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1310 - Scriptures with Mr. Nessler was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. Even though he has daily quizzes, they are super easy and you can literally just ctrl F the question in the online textbook, as they are open note. He is very picky with his weekly reflection grades, but just follow the syllabus and you'll be fine. He is quick with answering emails and he overall is just a good guy. His exams are all multiple choice and matching so if you pay a reasonable amount of attention in class you shouldn't have any problems. I got my grade while playing block blast and clash royale most class, do with that information as you will.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:REL 1310 - Class is super easy, reads slides in class, ecs quizzes due before each class but there's only 5 questions and he tells you that its open book. Weekly reflections each Sunday which aren't bad- easy points. His exams are all 40 questions and multiple choice with bonus questions at the end. He is very passionate about what he is teaching and encourages questions and wants to hear what you are thinking. He also posts a study guide for all exams so if you fill it out prior to the exam then you will do fine.   - Grade In Class:A
