Comments:1305 - He is very fun and personable!! Very passionate about the subject, even in a survey course. About 1-2 short readings every week with pop quizzes and discussions. He prepares you VERY well for the midterm and final and you can tell he genuinely wants you to get a good grade. Lots of fun pop culture references in class that keep every day fun and exciting!! Definitely take him, especially if you like the subject he is teaching!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - TAKE HIM!!! He is super funny, understanding and an easy grader (mid-term mean was a 90% and final mean was 93%). I literally got almost a perfect score on the mid-term and I did get a perfect score on the final. He gives you the prompts to prepare in advance so just make sure you do them and you'll do fine. I like history, but even if you don't you will with him. His class was super interesting and you should definitely go to class to get the points for attendance. The quizzes can be hard, but don't worry about them because they aren't worth much. A lot of reading is assigned, but I usually just skimmed it and then listened in class. I never took any notes because he gives you everything you need in Canvas. GREAT way to knock out the HIS 1300 requirement.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1300 - I actually really enjoyed Professor Gaspar's class more than I thought I would. He genuinely knows what he's talking about, and I found it all interesting and not too boring most of the time. He's also pretty funny, too. There are pop quizzes sometimes over the readings, but they aren't hard if you actually read the sources. There are primary source assessments (3) and a midterm and final, but those aren't bad either if you actually study and review. I'd recommend him if you're interested in global history for this course specifically.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:HIS 1300 - He has pop quizzes, usually on Fridays. You can bs the readings and quizzes most of the times. He grades hard on exams, but if you prepare for them you will be fine. He gets off topic really easy, but isn't the worst professor.  - Grade In Class:B+
