Comments:ME 4327 - Dr. Brent Craven is new to the department, and I was in his first section that he taught at Baylor, this being ME 4327 Numerical Methods. He took a slightly different approach to teaching the class than other professors might have, as he emphasized real world application (based on his impressive field experience) of the MATLAB code and numerical methods that we learned, which I think was a good way to teach the class and allowed for us to take more away from it. Being one of the first here to learn from him, I believe he did a very good job teaching and explaining the material, and was very available to help when needed. The tests were incredibly fair, including the final. I believe I would have scored a letter grade higher if I had not missed some homework assignment problems, so as long as you pay attention in class and do the homework on time, he is a nice professor to take.   - Grade In Class:B+
