Comments:CHE1301 - Genuinely avoid taking her if you can. I had straight A’s& B’s in every other class and a D+ in hers (i ended with a 69.3 and she rounds, but no amount of extra credit, which she doesn’t offer, or hard work would’ve convinced her to give me the one point) as a STEM major. She doesn’t teach well, she doesn’t do a great job at answering questions, she often has attitude in her emails whether you’re in her lecture, lab, or both. She’ll literally call you out in class if you emailed her a question that she didn’t like. Her tests were STUPID hard for no reason. I didn’t pass any of them nor did I even FINISH them. I would show my friends in other chem classes the tests she’d give and they were gobsmacked. She expects you to have the knowledge of someone with their doctorate in chemistry. It’s literally Gen. Chemistry I, and she made an already decently complicated college course even more ridiculously complicated. I’m sure people passed her class and i’m sure some people had no issue, which is great, but everyone I ever spoke to about her disliked her. Save yourself, try and get ANY OTHER PROFESSOR. - Grade In Class:D
Comments:1101-Lab - She replied to my email on time. Her office hours are by appointment. My TA, Nathalie Moro, was amazing. For example, she gave me another chance when all my attempts had been used up. - Grade In Class:A
