Comments:1430 - You hear its easy from everyone until it comes to the last two exams and the final. This class is actually brutal... good luck to anyone who take it.  - Grade In Class:F

Comments:1408/1409 - Great guy, passionate about physics, fair workload, very thorough with his work. Hats off to Dr. Cleaver!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PHY 1430 - For my calculus-based physics people-- Take Cleaver!! This was genuinely one of the easiest classes I have ever taken, and it had the lightest courseload out of all the classes I was taking this semester. I was in all core sciences this semester, and physics with Cleaver made my life so much easier since it was one less class to worry about. Take him!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PHY 1408 - DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!! He is a nice guy ig but lowkey cant teach to save his life. bro needs to retire. His exams are CRAZY hard for no reason and are nothing like the practice. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DO NOT TAKE HIM  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:PHY1408 - Super nice guy but terrible professor... I took this class because everyone said it was easy, but his exams are brutally hard. I was only able to get an A by sacrificing my other grades. If you have to take him, you can make it work, but I highly recommend that you don't take him if you can avoid it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:PHY 1420 - Dr. Cleaver is a great guy, and this class was incredibly easy. Would take him again.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1420 - Yeah...Physics 1 with Cleaver was a breeze like dang lol. The tests were all multiple choice and most of them were take home. They were all also open textbook, which was on your laptop. Also, he doesn't take attendance.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1408 - Cleaver is a homeboy. I have never met someone who is so passionate about physics. He is probably one of the smartest people I have ever met. This makes it difficult for him to sometimes teach and he does a reverse classroom which does not help, so you must teach yourself physics outside of class. However, he curves a ton and has open book quizzes.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1408 - Love this man!!! I am not that much of a physics person, hated it in high school. He tried a reverse classroom at first (a little bit of a fail) but then started to teach along with it. He is such a sweet soul. Very kind and understanding and did I mention... extremely curved tested. Mastering is a bit of a pain but all in all not too bad. Would take again.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1420 - The reason why the workload is so bad is that you have to teach yourself physics in his class. AVOID CLEAVER AT ALL COSTS!!! End of story. I managed an A, but I literally don't' know why. Thank God for AP Physics in high school. Cleaver used to teach graduate level physics, so he teaches you assuming you know all this stuff and then goes on tangents about theoretical physics. Do I care? No. I'm premed. I don't need this. His class of 60 had about 15-20 people show up every class. Once people started realizing you learn more by reading the boring textbook, they stopped coming to class. I went a majority of the time because I felt guilty. Tests are ridiculous. Beware. Girls were crying during them.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:2435 - Dr. Cleaver is so great. He's probably one of the best physics teachers at Baylor. He was really quirky and funny, and he was really interesting. He explained the concepts really well. There was a lot of homework, and it was pretty difficult, but he held weekly help sessions in which he personally helped us do the homework (which was graded for accuracy). The tests were incredibly hard, but I don't think he expected us to do all that well on them and he majorly curved them. I wish I were a physics major so I could take more classes from him!  - Grade In Class:A
