Comments:1321 - This class was the most difficult that I have taken at Baylor so far, and even though I got an A, I think that the flipped class was really difficult for me. I took precalculus at Baylor first, which I highly recommend before taking Calculus. I didn’t take any Calculus class before this, so it was all new to me. I didn’t like her class style, where she would give us hard homework problems in class and most of the group didn’t even watch the videos, so I sat there and waited until the timer was up and she could show me how to do them. She takes off a point for every mistake that you make on your tests, which are out of 100, so you can lose points pretty quickly. Thankfully, homework is as many attempts as you want until you get it right and quizzes are three attempts, which absolutely saved my grade. My best advice for you if you decide to take this class is stay on top of the videos, go to office hours, and watch some Organic Chemistry Tutor videos to make sure you know what you are doing in Calculus.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - Dr. Goodman is excellent for Calculus 1. She does a great job preparing you for the departmental final. In order to do well in this course, don't fall behind on the video lectures. Calculus is a hard class and the topics build on each other, so by having a good grasps on concepts early on will prepare you for success in this class. This class was by no means an easy A, but if you put in the work outside of class and participate both in class and in office hours, your hard work will pay off.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - I LOVE Dr. Goodman. Her course is flipped, so you have to watch lecture videos outside of class, but honestly I believe that is the most unique and helpful thing about the class. Everyone can take notes, but it is so nice to be able to practice homework problems in class to we have a chance to get help on the process. I also took her Supplemental calculus class and it was amazing. I did not do this well in calculus in high school and all the parts of the supplemental calculus class were immediately applicable in my calculus class. She is so nice and full of energy. Her test are all free response, but she gives you lots of credit for each step of the math problem.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1121 - Amy Goodman is an incredible professor who has a strong ability to teach. The class that I took with her was math supplement, which doesn’t really have assignments, but I could tell that Dr. Goodman could definitely teach, so any other class you take with her should be a success. She puts a lot of personality into her lectures and makes sure there is not a dull moment.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1121 - Dr. Goodman is an exceptional professor and person. She is great at explaining things, and keeps the class fun with her personality and jokes. However, I do not feel like this class benefited me very much. If you have a strong background in math, do not take this class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1121 - She is a very nice person, and doing good at teaching students, though not very helpful for me, still a good professor!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1321 - After failing (miserably) my first attempt at Calc with a different professor, I found the way she lectures to be very encouraging and assuring in my math abilities. She prepares you for her exams and gives a day of class devoted to reviewing the unit and tells you the type of questions to expect. Her exams are generally on par (if slightly easier) with the departmental final. I will always recommend her to anyone I know.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - Second time taking Calculus. Probably the best Cal1 Professor. Exams are AT NIGHT (8p-10p) but this is so she can give you 2 hours to do the exam. Homework and quizzes twice a week on Achieve. She does a test review before each exam stating exactly what she is grading on, how many points something is worth, and what will/wont be on the exam. I'd say tests are average difficulty. Most were directly from the homework/handout. Workload is average, don't let it pile up. Brings her puppy to class and grades her exams with emojis. Very helpful in office hours and overall a very engaging professor during class.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1321 Asynch - I had barely any previous trig knowledge, yet with lots of studying I was still able to pass every test with an A/B. Dr. Goodman is probably the best option for students needing to take calculus. She explains things very well, and never talks down on students for questions even if they were covered in the lectures. Make sure to ask the hard homework questions during class to get them out of the way. You get unlimited attempts on homework problems, and 3 attempts for quizzes (6-8 questions max) which were always duplicate problems from the homework. Tests were always almost exactly like the SI practice exam, so study that 2-3 days before the exam and you'll be prepared. As a person, Dr. Goodman actually put forth effort to get to know her students and she actually has a sense of humor. The only downside I'd give her is that due to the class being online, it'd get interrupted due to technical difficulties, but she goes over the time limit to answer all questions and even provides recordings and pdfs of her work.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1321 - She is a shining light. I retook calculus because I had the horrid dana gwynn before, and she knocks her out of the park 10 fold. She explained everything, her homework was just enough to understand but not bore me or waste time. Her tests were actually on similar problems you have done before. She makes an effort to learn names, she talks and laughs and is extremely reasonable and never talks down to you like half the math professors. Best calculus 1 teacher on this planet possibly, and im a business major!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - I have never been someone that excels in math, and I also am someone who needs to be taught in person. In this class, I struggled because I feel like Dr. Goodman has not shifted back to teaching after COVID. All of her lectures are taught through 7-minute videos online that you have to watch yourself. In class, you only get to work in groups doing assignments not having the material taught to you. I don't think there is a point in having the class in person for an hour and 15 minutes if you aren't being taught by the professor in class. If you are someone that can not learn through videos like myself I would recommend a different professor.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MTH 1321 (synchronous) - TAKE GOODMAN!! There is usually an option for synchronous/asyncrhonous online. (for synchronous) it is a flipped classroom where you watch the lectures before class, do the homework, and go over any hw problems in class. It is a lot of work, but it is so worth it to actually understand what you are doing for the exams. I studied straight from homework problems and usually ended up with A/B's on the test. She is also just a really good professor. She explains the material really well/organized in her lectures, and in class while going over the hw problems she works on them with you. She records/posts every class session and the problems you work in class in case you miss, as well. Goodman, overall, is very energetic, funny, and ALWAYS willing to help you, so definitely take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2022-12-19

Comments:MTH 1321 (asynchronous) - I took AP Calculus in high school, so I didn't have to do too much for the course to end up with a decent grade. That being said, Dr. Goodman is definitely the best Calc I professor at Baylor. She is very clear in her lectures and is easily approachable in her office hours. The homework in this class fortunately has an unlimited number of tries per question, and quiz questions are often (but not always) copied straight from the homework. The course was not perfect, however - the homework could be a bit excessive at times, and having no SI last semester (which isn't necessarily her fault) made exams more challenging to go into. I also found the final to be pretty difficult, but the format is the same each semester so take plenty of time to practice old tests. Overall, I strongly recommend you take her for Calc I!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1321 - GOODMAN IS THE QUEEN OF CALCULUS I MTH 1321 AT BAYLOR. I already had previous knowledge of calculus from AP Calculus in HS so I guess that helps, but I barely studied for any of her exams and ended up getting a decent grade on them. Exams she is a bit tough grader so I would be watchful for that. This semester we didn't have an SI so I would have wished that she would have been more informative about the format of her exams. BTW, the departmental final has some tricky questions, but they all follow the same format as past years with similar Qs. Practice those and you are golden. Great professor. >100% recommend Dr. AMY GOODMAN FOR CALCULUS. GREAT PERSONALITY AND MAKES CALCULUS EXCITING.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1315 - LOVE MS. GOODMAN!! Math 1315 is not a difficult course, and she makes that evident. You usually have a hw assignment and quiz due about once a week online, which give you the correct answers if you get them wrong. You'll catch on easily. Also, no tests, just 4 total projects including the final. Projects are group work except for the final which is annoying because your grade is reflected on not just your work but everyone's. For the projects, all you do is create a 20 minutes lesson plan for a specific grade level addressing a math concept from the unit. Your final project grade (if higher than a previous grade) will also reflect a previous project grade. Ms. Goodman is always available via email and responds promptly. Most of the class is group work and so it is easy to make friends. Our class was hybrid so I went in every other week! She is probably the only 1315 teacher, so you probably have to take her, and you'll enjoy it!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1321 - MRS. GOODMAN DESERVES THE WORLD!!! This was my second attempt at Calc at Baylor. My first time was my freshman year, I had never taken Clac before in high school which was a huge disadvantage for the professor I had. He went way too fast and I had to withdraw from the class. I was really scared to take Calc again but I had heard great things about Mrs. Goodman, and for good reason. Her personality is so amazing as she is funny and approachable. This made her lectures so much more enjoyable and understandable (seriously she had me laughing while watching her lectures). She posted all her lecture videos on Canvas at the beginning of the semester that you would watch and do the follow-along with notes at your own pace, and in lecture, you would go over any hw questions. I loved this because depending on how my week was I could take care of Calc whenever was best for me. Her hw and quizzes were both done through sapling. I loved it because the hw had an unlimited amount of tries, and she would go over any questions during office hours and lectures. There was basically no way you couldn't get 100% on the hw. The quizzes had 3 attempts (which was still very nice) and they were the same questions from the hw just with different numbers. Her tests were very VERY nice. If you watched the lecture videos, reviewed the notes, and went to SI you were golden. She also gave out a lot of extra credit for the research she's doing. Unfortunately, she has graduated, but the SI I just had was so clutch. Her practice tests were almost identical to Mrs. Goodman's actual tests because Mrs. Goodman didn't care how similar they were. Overall, if math isn't really your thing and you're just trying to get through Calc, take Mrs. Goodman. She is so passionate about what she does and extremely helpful. She actually cares about your success making it really easy to get an A if you put in the work!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - I did not have the best experience with Mrs. Goodman. The way her class is set up is that there are quizzes and homeworks. there are no exams which sounds great and all but 60% of your grade comes from group projects...so a hardworking student like me makes 100s on quizzes and tests right...but the first group project I got put into a group where I did my work but my group members clearly did not care so we got a poor grade. I went to her office hours and waited 20 mins for her to show up and she was not helpful to me at all. This was frustrating to me as I was looking for help on how I could do better on the next project and she just kinda shrugged her shoulders. I feel like this professor didn't care to get to know me personally and she was not helpful to me. her class is set up poorly because you can do really well, but if your group during a group project does not put in effort...you will be screwed because there are 4 group projects. it would be different if the professor was willing to work with you as an individual and wanted to see you succeed.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1315 - Anyone taking Dr.Goodman's class will either love her or hate her. For me I loved her. I thought she was a very realizable teacher. You are only really graded on Homework, Quizzes, and Projects. You do have a lot of work to do in the class, but it is easy to work. She does not check classwork ever, so I normally do her homework and quizzes in class. I suggest to work ahead and never fall behind. the project is just to make a lesson plan over a topic from the unit. Also, you can retake the Homeworks and quizzes as many times as you and end up get 100% on everything. This class made many students either be reassured the education is the major for them or they completely drop the class and the major. She also drops a few low homework grades and quizzes. You have 1 homework and 1 quiz for each section, but the questions on the homework are literary the quizzes question. (Homeworks and Quizzes are due online). You have 4 projects throughout the class, and the final is 1 of the 4 projects. If I could I would take her class again. To anyone taking her class remember to work smarter, not harder.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1315 - Mrs. Goodman is easily the best math teacher I have ever had. I have NEVER liked math and always struggled, but she actually made it fun! She leaves time for homework questions at the beginning of class and that is SO helpful. I had her during COVID and she easily had the most clear and organized Canvas than any of my other professors. She is incredibly approachable, funny, and one of my favorite professors I have had during my time at Baylor. TAKE HER-- you will NOT regret it!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - She is a decent teacher. She is very funny and will never make you bored in class. However, she does not explain things well at all. There is the rare occasion that you can follow what she is saying but often she gets carried away with the colors of the markers on the board rather than the problem you are working on. But, I had her class hybrid so you definitely can just do other work in the class. It is an easy hybrid class.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MTH 1321 - Mrs. Goodman might be the best math teacher I've ever had. I never really understood calc (I took it in high school), and she always makes sure that everyone understands what's going on. Homework is pretty doable, and even when it's not, she has office hours every single day and always makes time to get to your problems. Quiz questions come straight from the homework, so if you go to tutoring, she helps you figure it all out. Her tests are easy if you look over your notes and rework a few homework problems-- it's nothing she doesn't show you beforehand. Her funny personality makes the class SO fun, and it definitely makes her more approachable than other professors. Do the homework (and ask for help if you need it), and go to the SI sessions! The practice tests the SI gives you are very close to the real exam, and SI is also just really helpful in general, especially when you're feeling lost. Mrs. Goodman is my favorite teacher thus far and the way she actually cares about my grade the same way I do makes me like her more. She's so awesome-- TAKE GOODMAN!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - I absolutely love Mrs. Goodman. She is such a good teacher and explains things so well. The lectures are online but are not long and it prevents you from having to finish class activities for homework. There is one homework assignment per week and they're not bad at all. There are 3 tests during the semester and a final. The tests are very easy if you understand the notes and activities. There are also quizzes after every homework assignment, but all you do is literally copy down your homework answers. She also goes over the homework so it is easy to score high on these quizzes. She also drops your 4 lowest quiz grades. Please take Mrs. Goodman. You will love her  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1321 - Mrs. Goodman is the best cal teacher at Baylor. That however, is not saying much. Her classes are excellent and you can tell that she actually cares about what she is teaching. However, outside of class many times I felt she just did not care. I attempted to go to many of her office hours in the afternoon and I think she was actually there once. Her test are also extremely different from what we are taught in class and given homework on. I studied my ass off for many of her test and I did not pass one. So you will learn what you are supposed to learn your grade is just going to suck.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1321 - Compared to what I have heard regarding the other Calculus I professors, Goodman is the best option for MTH1321. For every class, you will print off highly structured and straightforward notes that serve as the basis for her lectures. I enjoyed her lecture style. Highly enthusiastic, and always willing to answer any question no matter how simple it may be. HW consists of 10-20 book problems per week, and for quizzes, you copy down select HW problems. The Tests one and two were not too bad, while the second two tests were more difficult. If you have a good work ethic towards this class, consistently do the homework, and practice enough for the tests, you should do fine overall. The material itself can be more difficult than most courses, yet I feel she does her best explaining and helping you along the way. She is always willing to work through any homework problem you don't understand in her office hours, so I feel it was vital that I went. Given Goodman's great class and teaching ability, I feel It was very possible to have gotten either an A or A-. I however, was very lazy on Homework and did not always prioritize it. I tried to start studying for the latter two tests one or two days in advance and it did not work out well. If you start five or six days in advance and schedule out a good amount of study time, then you can succeed on her tests. Overall, I walked away from her class with a greater interest and understanding of a more advanced Math than I had before. I recommend Goodman. -MITCHEL  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1321 - She is the best teacher I have had at Baylor. She knows what she is doing, explains things well, and her policies are reasonable. She has a decent amount of homework, but with math homework is kind of necessary for a good grade. I was worried because of some reviews saying she moves too fast, but she doesn't in my opinion. Her course is very organized and she utilizes canvas. 10/10 recommend TAKE HER!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1320 - PHONE NAZI!!!!!!! I loved Mrs. Goodman, however, test are hard so if you aren't great at math, may want to find a teacher that will give easy tests. She's always there if you have questions and works well with athletes missing classes, she will help you make up the material and make sure you understand it! We had a LOT of homework, but it was only due on Fridays so you had the whole week to get it done. Quizzes came directly from homework and were also on Fridays. Test went off of her sheets she posted online but was just a lot of material that you had to know. Put it this way, she makes a "50 min" test, (I don't think ANYONE could do it in 50 min), and it took me 1 hr 45 up to the full 2 hours every time. I would highly recommend her to anyone that's willing to put the work in!! Overall great person and very entertaining in class!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1321 - I really like Professor Goodman. She is a fantastic teacher who explains things well. On top of being pretty funny and nice, she really cares about her students learning. That being said the class isn't a walk in the park. You'll still have to work in order to get a good grade  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1320/1321 - I took Goodman for pre-calculus and made a B. I had taken pre-cal before though so it was all review. The final was not passable but it gets curved like crazy. I then took Goodman for calculus. I had not taken calculus before so I actually found her teaching very fast paced when I was learning things for the first time. Her tests are much more difficult than other calculus professors. I studied constantly for this class but struggled the entire time. She's very nice but unless you're great at math I would recommend taking someone else. The calculus final was even worse than the pre-cal final. Every semester it gets curved 20-30 points. Goodman is nice and there's a lot of factors to your grade (quizzes, homework is completion).  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1315 - Mrs. Goodman is awesome. She presents information in a clear, concise manner. She's always willing to help if something isn't making sense. Her class was fun, homework was easy, and the quizzes are very simple. Highly recommend.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1315 - Mrs. Goodman is wonderful. She is so funny and she is a great teacher. She loves to help out when you do not understand something. She gives notes and then lets you do group work during class. Her homework takes a while, but it is not too hard. The tests were easy if you just pay attention in class and do the work. She is a really tough grader, but I think she is not too hard other than that! Mrs. Goodman is great!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - Although I am not a math person, Dr. Goodman has been one of my favorite professors at Baylor! She is sassy, sarcastic, and hilarious. Her quizzes are a piece of cake- you just copy your homework onto a paper that she gives you (she only asks for two random homework problems). Tests can be difficult if you do not understand the material-be sure to study for this class!  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:1315 - I absolutely loved Mrs. Goodman! She is a really good teacher and definitely prepared us like we are going to be teaching this material one day. She is so funny and really personable. Quizzes are literally copying down a problem from the homework, so DO THE HOMEWORK! The material isn't hard at all. Its what we all learned in elementary school and then she refreshes our memories of how to do it and then explains how to teach it. The tests aren't hard, just time-consuming. Don't let her see or hear your phone in class though because she will make you sing "I'm A Little Tea Pot" in front of the whole class. Great teacher, take her if you can!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - This material is more difficult then you go in thinking so don't take that first test lightly, you need to study. Every lesson has a small introduction by Professor Goodman but the rest is group work. She switches up the group work so you make friends too. She is willing to sit down with anyone who needs help. She's super funny in class too so it was really easy to like her. The tests are hard but just work the problems in your book before you take it and you should be fine. The final is cumulative but I know at least for my class, she let us have a notecard with whatever we wanted on it. She does want you to succeed and teaches the class in a way meant for people who will eventually teach elementary students.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2012-12-07

Comments:1315 - Mrs. Goodman is great! She gave us three tests during the semester and a homework quiz about every week. The homework quizzes are straight from the homework, so make sure you do your homework! She goes over a few questions from the homework at the beginning of class and has the homework quiz during the last 15 minutes of class. During class we do activities in groups out of the activity spiral. We had so many quizzes that she ended up dropping our four lowest quiz grades. I didn't do so well on the first test but I did well on the later tests. It just depends on what units you're strongest at. If you do better on your final exam, she replaces your lowest test grade with that grade. If you do worse on the final, then it counts, so the final exam MATTERS! Overall, the class was manageable and I did well. She explains things very well.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1315 - Mrs. Goodman was so great. She made the class interesting with her humor and taught us like we will be teaching one day. There was homework quite often, but instead of turning it in, we go over it as a class and then have a "quiz" which is a piece of paper with three sections that give a number corresponding to the homework. You copy down your answer from your homework onto the quiz and turn that and the homework in. It's pretty much a guaranteed A, unless you didn't do the homework. We participated in groups of 4 people almost every class. Tests were straight from the homework and all the things we did in class, so if you don't understand something, speak up and she will explain it until you understand.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1301 - Ok, so if you're not a math person don't mistake the course number 1301. I went into this class thinking it was going to be really easy, right? Wrong... you actually have to work at it because it's not really math. You don't deal a ton with formulas or anything like that til the end. There is a quiz every thurs that you just copy from your hw so make sure you do your hw and do it right. I didn't realize til the end of the semester how much those points really add up. so if you're not a good test taker, make sure you do them. Goodman is REALLY nice... although she is an ATM alumn, she's cool. Great teacher and always wants to make sure you understand everything. Her tests are sort of hard, but just make sure you study your notes and homework and you should be fine. Define a relationship with her she notices if you're in class and wanting to do well. I would recommend her  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1301 - She is a great teacher and really funny!! There is a quiz once a week, but it is an easy 100 if you do the homework(which is a completion grade) The tests are super easy if you attend class and do your homework. I have made all A's on everything we have done in her class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1321 - Mrs. Goodman is a wonderful teacher. As long as you do the homework you'll be okay because quizzes come directly from the homework. She does have a tendency to move insanely fast through the sections, and her tests are pretty hard. She's always in her office to help and will make sure she answers all your questions!  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2006-04-06

Comments:1301 - She teaches insanely fast. You hardly have time to write down her scribbles on the board. After every lesson she asks if you have questions, but you still are trying to finish copying the notes and don't even have time to process it to have questions yet. If you take her bring a LOT of paper and try to keep up. I learned more from the book than I did from her lecture. Good luck!  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1301 - Great sense of humor but I wasn't the biggest fan of her teaching. I learned more when I skipped class and taught myself. She writes EVERYTHING out on the board and it's all straight from the book so it's a waste of time. She doesn't answer any questions really until the day before the test- so if you are confused... good luck.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 Pre-Cal - Shes really good and she's funny and she gives it to you in plain english and gives you alot of examples of how to do the problem. Examples are exactly like the test. Quizes are off of ur homework, which u get to use. Funny lady.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1301 - She explains the material very well, so if you miss class a lot it can be difficult. It helps to do the homework for the homework quizzes, it's a big grade booster. Tests weren't difficult if you had been doing the work.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1309 - OMG I had her twice, the 2nd time was merely b/c she was the only one left, and her class sucks. She is a very thorough, but insanely fast teacher. Be prepared to use more notebook paper for her notes than you've EVER used in your life. Her tests are soooo long and the wording is usually confusing. If math is your subject and you can deal with going fast, then take her. If you suck at it and you need a slower moving class with reasonable tests than stay far far away!!! She's an aggie too..ha.  - Grade In Class:D

Comments:Math 1305 - Very good teacher. She explains the material very well. She is always energetic, even at 8 in the morning. Do your homework is a participation grade, do well on quizzes and tests and u should do fine  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:1309 (bus calc) - I loved Mrs. Goodman's teaching style. First, she teaches the material, then you did homework on it, then you were quizzed on it, then you were tested on it. It was so helpful. If I needed help (which I did on the last section), I could go in and she helped me sooo much. TAKE GOODMAN! SHE'S AMAZING!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MTH 1309 - Superman moves at slower speeds than she does. She zips through the given time. She doesn't feel like she has succeeded unless she goes through 3 sections in one period. Don't schedule your next class too far away because she will go over EVERY CLASS! Her tests are hard, study the notes and weekly quizzes and you will do fine.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:biz calc - She is an exceptional teacher. The only drawback is her tests are not a good representation of what you learned. Great teacher..hard tests.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:1304 - shes a very good and funny teacher - she knows how to make classes fun and understanding even though there is alot of work, she's makes sure you understand the sections - take her!   - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1321 - Although she is a good teacher, she does not teach what is on the homework and does not provide enough time to take her quizzes or tests. Even if you know the material cold, it is hard to finish and they are not a good gage of your knowledge. She is nice and lectures are entertaining, but the amount of homework is enormous. You will probably be doing an average of 20-30 problems a week, sometimes alot more. She does give you until 5 to turn it in and is good about posting grades and the weekly quiz keys on the web. The final replaces your lowest test grade which is also nice. If you a speedy math person, who likes tons of homework, her class might be for you, but if not I would try another prof.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:1309 - She has to be one of the best math teachers I have ever had. I found myself understanding stuff I could never understand before in her class; and she was ALWAYS available to help if you needed it. Tests were pretty much dead-on what we went over in class, and she tells you exactly what she will be covering the class before the test anyway. My best advice would be to pay attention, study the review notes and your class notes, do the assignments, and get help when you need it. Seriously, the assignments can only help you in the long run.   - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1304 - She's a really, really nice person and makes class interesting. You can tell she really wants to help you learn the material. I did pretty much no studying, and I did really well.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1301 - Goodman is nice and very funny. She is also quite understanding in most situations. The class was VERY easy, I usually slept (it was right after lunch). WAY TOO MUCH HOMEWORK. The grading scheme for the class would enable one to make a B and not do a drop of homework. That is pretty cool, but it only works if you don't start to not study towards the end of the class. Other than that, she is GREAT!  - Grade In Class:D

Comments:1309 - Best math teacher i ever had. even stuff that never clicked in highschool she made crystal clear. makes it easy to do well if you try. i love her as a teacher and as a person. highly reccommended!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 - she's a good teacher do your homework and you should be fine that was my problem i never did the homework. she goes kinda fast but it's alot of material to cover in a semester. other then that she's funny and a good professor just don't forget to turn off your cell phones or you'll be singing i'm a little teapot in the front of the class.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1304 - Mrs. Goodman is a great teacher. Her sarcasm and humor helps the class go by fast, even for Tuesday/Thursday classes. Her quizzes and tests are reasonable. She also drops the two lowest quiz grades. If you score higher on your final exam than your lowest test score, the final is averaged in place of that low test score. Try to take Mrs. Goodman for Pre-cal if you can!   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:Cal I - I love Amy Goodman! Had her this summer for Cal 1. Best class ever. Regular structure so you know whats going on. Great at explaining and giving applicable examples. Doing your homework prepares you for the quizzes, which prepare you for the tests. So nice. If they all could be like her. By the way....she sponsors the Crew Team...and does an incredible job. She loves the students and not to mention math. But takes interest....so TAKE AMY GOODMAN!!!!!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Goodman is awesome!!! I have had two other profs already for cal and she blew them all away! I passed her class easily and I am terrible in math! She's very funny and makes classtime move quickly. Do whatever you can to take her class!!!

Comments:I had her for Cal 1. She is a great teacher who keeps things interesting with humor. Weekly quizzes and homework, but VERY do-able.

Comments:Goodman is awesome. She's funny, has a regular class schedule and teaches the material very well.

Comments:Great teacher. I had her for Ideas in Mathmatics (if you need a math credit, TAKE THIS, but only with Goodman.) She explained the material well and had an awesome dry sense of humor. That's what got me through class every day. Thumbs up.

Comments:I learned a lot in this class. She lets you know what is expected. Quizzes and tests are regular and returned quickly. She has a great sense of humor and makes class fun!

Comments:She is very nice and helpful. She does what she can to make sure all students understand the material. Definitely a good choice!

Comments:Do all you can to take this lady for a class...she is on the ball....you have homework and quizzes on a regular basis. You will always feel prepared for the test and she is great at answering questions. She has a winning smile and a great sense of humor. I made a B+ in the class and i would highly reccomend this professor.
