Comments:MTH 1321 - Dr. Hood is one of the few mathematics professors at Baylor who has not made me cry. I came to Baylor as a mathematics major, ultimately changing due to the lack of professors with teaching abilities and the willingness to work with you. That being said Dr. Hood cares about you as a student, wants you to come to his office hours, and wants you to succeed. Although I absolutely hate mathematics now because of this university (I took 7 math classes in high school for fun), Dr. Hood was a professor who made me begin to enjoy it like I once did. If you are going to take a math class at Baylor, I would highly recommend him. HOWEVER IF AT ALL POSSIBLE DO NOT TAKE ANY (CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH) MATH CLASSES HERE REGARDLESS OF PROFESSOR. TRY TO TRANSFER FROM A COMMUNITY COLLEGE.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1321 - Professor Hood might be one of the sweetest people on earth, that being said I would not ever recommend taking him for Calculus I if you have never taken Calculus before. In my semester, almost everyone with no calculus background dropped. For all my friends who had taken Calc I it seemed to be an easy A. I had never taken it before, but I needed credit for the class, so I stuck it out and got the only C I have ever gotten and will ever get in my life. I had my friend tutor me. I studied and studied and studied, but it seemed like my effort got me nowhere. It's not that Professor Hood was not willing to help me, it's just that he did not explain things in a way that I understood. Again, he is a nice, sweet, funny man, but only take him if you only need to retake Calc I. (He also never posts anything on Canvas.)  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:1321 - To start off I'd like to note that I never took calculus in high school nor is this my second time taking this class. I did somewhat well in precalc and I found this course to be difficult if you do not keep up with the work. Calculus is tricky, but Prof. Hood did a great job with out class. I really liked him as my first calc prof and I think you will too. He is willing to help when you have questions and his exams are somewhat hard. Like I said beforehand, calculus is no joke. The course itself is difficult but if you take him, you will not regret it.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1321 - Let me start off by saying that Dr. Hood is THE SWEETEST professor at Baylor. He clearly cares about his students, BUT he is not very good at teaching calculus. His teaching style is terrible. He teaches by doing one example per concept then expects you to basically figure it out completely on your own. He doesn't use canvas or blackboard, so I've had no idea what my my grade is at all semester. I am really good at math and this is HORRIBLE. If you take him as a professor expect to need a tutor and to spend many nights in the library trying to teach yourself a very difficult subject.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1321 - Professor Hood is a very very very nice person!!! He is one of my favorites professor in Baylor. If you come to his office hour he will teach you a lot, not always about math, just like your grandpa. Make sure you do your homework and you will be fine in his class.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2017-02-04

Comments:MTH 1321 - Professor Hood is a great teacher. If you don't get the material in class, do not hesitate to go to his office hours. He will sit down with you and explain it as many times as you need. Make sure to go to SI if you still need another teaching style to understand it. If you do the homework (even though it isn't required) you will succeed with his quizzes and tests.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2015-11-23

Comments:1321 - Literally the SWEETEST man you will ever meet. His quizzes (once a week) were very straightforward, and right from the homework, and his tests were not overly difficult. If you participate in class, and if you go to his office hours, you will have absolutely no problem getting a decent grade in his class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2015-10-15

Comments:MTH 1321 - He knows a lot about math, but he moves too fast and he expects you to know everything fast. He is also hard to follow in class. Overall, he's not a great teacher, don't take him.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2014-11-13

Comments:1321 - Dr. Hood is a very nice man, and he can teach Calculus I pretty well. He gives us homework problems to work on, but you don't have to turn them in. The tests were fine, and prepared me adequately for the departmental final. Overall, a good but not great teacher  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2014-11-09

Comments:Pre-Calc - Dr. Hood is an awesome teacher. He genuinely cares about both his students and math. He is constantly asking if we get it, begging us to ask questions, trying to make sure that we understand. He genuinely wants you to do well and is flexible in terms of how he makes that happen. I'm not particularly skilled in math, but he made it understandable. Tests were consistent with what had been taught in the course and had been on the quizzes.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2014-05-09

Comments:1321 - Dr. Hood is such a sweet man, but he does teach as if you've had exposure to calculus before. Thankfully I have. He doesn't take up any homework but he has weekly quizzes, and doing the homework helps significantly. His tests aren't too bad. He's a pretty good professor, but if possible find a better one.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2013-04-16

Comments:1321 - Dr.Hood is a very nice man, but he is the WORST teacher I have ever encountered in my life. I have NEVER made a D, and I'm usually good in math, i ALWAYS make A's in math. He teaches this class as if you've taken calculus in high school. I didn't understand half the material. He picks random problems in the book and just starts working it out. I was absolutely confused in the class. I retook it with another teacher and calculus turned out to be really easy. save your self the time and money and DON'T TAKE HOOD, especially if this is your first time taking calculus. If it's not, you'll probably survive, but I must warn you, his tests are pretty hard.  - Grade In Class:D

Comments:MTH 1321 - This guy is good at math...WHO GIVES A CRAP. He SUCKS at his job. He has no idea how to TEACH calculus. He is an old fart who is still stuck in the 1920s and expects his students to know every intricate detail of calculus. His reasoning was "If you know how to do the hard stuff, you'll know how to do everything else that's less difficult." Well duh, but not all of us are math geniuses and if he actually wanted us to understand this stuff he would SLOW DOWN and TEACH it, not just make us watch him do math problems on the board really fast. It can be somewhat entertaining, but I'm not paying to watch people do math - I want to learn it, and if you do too DO NOT TAKE HOOD. Take Nichols. She films all her lectures and posts them online, and she is great at explaining things. I learned more from her watching a few of her videos online from a friend's Blackboard account than I did from sitting in Hood's class on the verge of passing out from boredom all year long. The only redeeming quality he has is that he is somewhat friendly...and that's about it. If I have not made it clear, I think he is by far the worst teacher I have had at Baylor. He did a terrible job of preparing us for the final, and my only hope at receiving a decent grade is the curve. Rant over.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2012-05-03

Comments:Pre-Cal - Dr. Hood is a really great teacher and a sweet man. He really cares about how well his students preform on his exams. I had him at 8 in the morning though, which made it hard to pay attention especially because he spoke softly. There is a weekly mymathlab assignment and a weekly quiz. Quizzes came right from the homework problems so it's very easy to get 100s on all of them. The tests were not very hard. He gives review sheets before every test; do them! They will help tremendously. I highly recommend Dr. Hood and I will try to take him for calculus, too.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-12-19

Comments:pre cal - Dr. Hood is the sweetest man. He acticely engaged our 8am class and made us learn. He works with the online mathlab program for homework and it really helps. There are 3 tests and he replaces the lowest with the final exam grade.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-12-17

Comments:pre-cal - Mr. Hood is one of the best teachers I have had! He isn't a grad student, so he actually knows how to teach. He goes over everything you need to know and makes sure you understand it. He does examples from the book, which really helps you do your homework later. You have to do homework or you wont do well in any math class. His tests are pretty easy if you did your homework and did the reiview problems too. He is a really nice guy and really cares about you and your grade.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-08-26

Comments:1309CALC - Very nice man, but hard to understand his teaching. I had an A until I bombed the very hard final. As long as he keeps doing mymathlab there will be grades to fall back on. Calculus will be hard no matter what, Hood is an okay choice and he wants you to do well.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-06-30

Comments:1309 - Dr. Melvin Hood is an all-around nice old guy. It takes a few weeks to get used to his style of teaching, but once you do, there is no reason an A isn't attainable. Dr. Hood is highly intelligent. He sometimes meanders off-topic, but this is a welcomed "breather" in 75 minute class. Take Hood, and you'll be fine in math.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-05-14

Comments:1304 - This professor either can't or refuses to teach so make sure you have a solid foundation for pre-cal coming out of high school or before taking this course. The text book and mymathlab problems also didn't help when it came to his exams or the final. The only reason I made a C was because I did much better on the final apparently which has nothing to do with his "wonderful" instruction or preparation. Sure, personally he's nice but as far as an instructor he's no good. Find someone else!!!!!  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2011-05-11

Comments:1309 - He is a wonderful professor! He is funny and easy to talk to. He has a soft voice, so try to seat in the front, but he knows his stuff. I had no problems understanding the assignments. As long as you do your homework you'll be fine. I am not sure how much longer he will be teaching for, but if you can take him DO IT! He's great!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2011-01-18

Comments:1305 - Study your notes and problems! Do all provided practice problems and you'll do great! He gets stuck a little every now and again but he is great!  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-01-03

Comments:1321 - Dr. Hood is very sweet and helpful. I went to his office hours almost everyday. He will sit down and work out problems for you. It was my first time to take calculus and it was definitely challenging. It was also hard because I took it at 8 AM MWF. He has a very soft voice and sometimes it was hard to pay attention. He gave us an opportunity to retake one exam because everyone did so poorly on it. I was able to make a high B on the retake. The quizzes were pretty easy and he usually annouced them. He was a great professor. I took 18 hours and his class was the ONLY class I didn't make an A in so I was bummed. But a B isn't too bad. Work hard, do homework, go to office hours, and STUDY!  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2011-01-01

Comments:MTH 1309 - Mr. Hood was such a sweet professor and he was very conscious of his students performance. He did teach a little bit fast but the textbook was also very good at explaining calculus concepts. I suggest buying the book NEW because you'll need the access code to do the online homework. Otherwise you'll have to pay $60 (like me) in order to be able to do the homework. The application problems on the tests were always a little more difficult than the ones in the text but they weren't at all impossible. I recommend Mr. Hood for anyone because he is very helpful and he wants everyone to perform well.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-12-19

Comments:MTH 1309 - Professor Hood was an excellent and nice person, yet a horrible teacher. The homework workload was not hard and he replaces the lowest test grade with the final. If you have taken Calculus I highly recommend him, yet if you have only taken Pre-Calculus I do not recommend him, because he goes VERY fast!!  - Grade In Class:D

Date: 2010-12-15

Comments:1309 - First off you must realize this is a calculus class. You really get what you put into the class. I have always been great at math and thought this class would be so simple, until my first exam. I made a 60, it was a big wake up call. You really must pay attention in class & I would strongly recommend taking notes so you can see how he wants you to do the problems. You do have homework problems due every week, but they really are helpful. There are 3 exams and one final. The final can replace your lowest exam grade, so you can still make an A if you really bomb an exam. :) Dr. Hood is really a sweet guy and corny at times, but he is so excited for math! You learn a lot from this class, so I would definitely recommend it !!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-05-06

Comments:1304 - He's a very sweet proffessor and is very helpful if you need it. He makes the class seem pretty easy and the homework is easy as well. the tests are a bit challenging but if you review all of the old problems and notes then you should be fine. Overall i would recommend taking him for pre-calc.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-05-04

Comments:1304 - Mr. Hood is a great professor. The class itself can get boring at times, but that is not unusual for math classes. His homework is super easy. Its impossible not to make an A on it. His tests can be challenging at times. Overall, I would recommend him to anyone.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2010-02-04

Comments:MTH1304 - I absolutely hated this class. I took pre-cal in high school so I though this class would be a breeze.. it wasn't. It wasn't so much Hood that was bad, it was the class. I had it MW so since it was only twice a week, I never really learned the material. We have about 30 questions to answer once a week which doesn't sound bad but, oh wait, each question has like 5 parts to it so it takes forever. He gives reviews before each test but not the final. The final is impossible (it's departmental) but the tests are pretty alright. You'll survive his class but it sucks, but hey, its pre-cal, what do you expect?  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2009-12-18

Comments:1304 - Hood is a really nice guy but he is not for you if you don't do well with math. You have to have a knowledge of precal before you take the class because he blows through the chapters and really doesn't teach the material.   - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2009-12-17

Comments:Business Calc. - Mr. Hood is very caring about his students and he cares that they actually learn the material. However, he is so quickly and constantly writing on the board and you are copying it down in your notes so you dont actually get a chance to comprehend the material in class and he doesnt get a chance to actually teach.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2009-12-09

Comments:Pre-Calc 1304 - While Professor Hood is a very nice old man, he either can't teach or refuses to teach in his class. Not only is his class incredibly boring, but he spends the ENTIRE time writing problems down on the bored instead of actually teaching you so you fully understand. Also, his tests are mildly difficult and he is a very picky grader, so expect to lose points over relatively unimportant things (I lost 3 points on one problem for writing solution on the edge of the paper). Overall, take him if you're great at Math and just need to blow through Pre-Calc. If you're looking for someone who can actually teach Pre-Calc, Hood is not your guy.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2009-12-09

Comments:Pre Cal - Nicest and most caring professor I have. He is always willing to help his students. Class is boring, but easy.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2009-11-05

Comments:1308 - Mr. Hood is the nicest man I have come across in my nineteen years. All my life, I have had the lowest grade in my math class...I am awful at math. However, Hood took a different approach to teaching. He explained WHY you do what you do to solve a problem rather than just explaining how to do it. Once you understand why math works the way it does, you can figure out problems you haven't done before (or at least that's how it worked for me). I went from being the worst in math in high school to making an A in the class. The class is hard and so is the final, but that's because PreCal just isn't easy. Hood makes it as do-able as posssible and I have never seen anyone more understanding with questions. I strongly recommend him. Hood is a great man.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2009-05-12

Comments:pre-cal - I made a C because of all my absences (sing chair at the time), but if I'd been there I would've aced it. He explains the concepts very well and was ALWAYS willing to meet with me in his office hours and go over any concepts that I didn't understand. He would pull out an extra few problems and walk me through them step by step until I felt comfortable with them. Very sweet man. A little Mr. Rogers-esque. Fantastic class.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2009-04-15

Comments:1304 - Dr. Hood is a great guy. I took him in the summer and never caught up. One of the nicest people in the world, will help you through anything.  - Grade In Class:D

Date: 2009-04-06

Comments:1308 - He's alright once you get past the monotone-ness. I had him in an 8:00 class and it was terrible... He really likes to get into the concepts and theories behind mathematical ideas even though most of the stuff can be done on the calculator. He doesn't give any quizzes and his homework is online, which is nice. But he didn't have a blackboard account thing for his class so it was difficult to figure out what grades you were making. Also, one time I asked him what the class average was for a test and he told me that he doesn't know and that it really doesn't matter.   - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2008-12-03

Comments:Pre-Calculus - Dr. Hood is a wonderful professor! He was always willing to help me when I had questions and he is very patient. He genuinely cares about his student's success. His quizzes are easy but his tests are tricky. Definitely do the homework and try to go to his office hours. Basically, he's the nicest man ever and a very good math professor. So take him.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2008-04-04

Comments:1308 - Hood is a nice old man, but he doesn't really care if you do good, and he has no sympathy for anybody. He doesn't really teach the material well and his tests are tough.   - Grade In Class:D

Date: 2008-02-27

Comments:1321 - He was the teacher that made me love math so much that I switched to being a math major.   - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2008-01-06

Comments:calc 1321 - nice old man. teaches extremely fast & its hard to keep up with, but he is willing to answer any questions. he told us he'd rather give us alot of take home quizzes & see us get good grades & understand the material, rather then give quizzes & students fail. really interested in you learning what you're supposed to and succeeding in class. tests are somewhat difficult. make sure you keep up on homework & ask any questions.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2007-04-15

Comments:1302 - i had precalc with Dr.Hood. While he was a really nice guy, he seemed to lack communication skills with my class. almost every student in my class of 40+ is retaking it. I would recommend him if you are good at math but not if you are mediocre. The problem was his tests, the class had high quiz grades (mine was 85), but very low test averages. I did better on the final than i did on any of his tests, and im not really sure how that is possible.  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2007-01-17

Comments:1309 Bus. Cal. - I really liked Dr. Hood because he is very patient with every student in the classroom. Try sitting in the front if you can because he speaks softly and writes on the chalkboard every class. He assigns homework, but never once asked for it. However, i would recommend at least doing half of the problems to stay up with the class. Tests are fair and are not crazy hard. He gives you problems before each test that are similar to those that are on the test. If you do those and understand the concepts there's no reason why you couldnt pull a B in his class.   - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-12-14

Comments:1321 - Prof. Hood is by far the best math professor I've ever had. He's very good at explaining the material and is very patient with you until you get it. His office hourse are very helpful. The tests aren't terrible if you do the homework, but if you don't you are in deep trouble. He makes an effort to really get to know you and it was a pleasure having him. Just wish he taugh summer Cal II. I gave the workload a 1 because I took it in the summer. On average I had about 8 hrs of hw a night but that can be expected. During a normal semester it wouldn't have been bad and I'm sure I would have gotten an 'A'.   - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-07-01

Comments:1321 - I think that Hood is the best Calculus teacher. He explains everything fully although his voice will often put you to sleep. He is very helpful and has a lot of office hours. His quizzes are pretty easy and usually come straight from the homework. His tests are a bit long, but are also very similar to the questions in the book. I was close to an A in the class but the departmental final was extremely hard and I got an 86. Overall, he is a great teacher. I strongly suggest taking Hood.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-05-09

Comments:1309 - I agree with the comments below, he is very nice but a bad teacher. Quizzes are passable, tests are terrible, and you get absolutely no credit for homework. Half the time he expects you to come to class having already done homework for the next section so you can ask questions about what you don't understand. Not an easy teacher to understand concepts with, because he's very confusing and drifts off topic. I have a math background and have always had A's and I had to work extremely hard to pull off a B. I suggest taking a better teacher who will explain things more thoroughly unless you have already had calculus.  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2006-04-11

Comments:Ideas in Math - Okay, I hardly ever went to class AND I'm bad at math and I got a C. Not bad? I really liked Mr. Hood. He's so kind! He's just like....a southern gentlemen. Really strong accent...heh. Anyway, he made the class pretty easy. If I had gone more, I would have definitely pulled off a B easily. He's really helpful about letting you know your grade too, and he gets tests and quizzes back to you really fast. Definitely reccommend him!  - Grade In Class:C

Date: 2006-01-06

Comments:MTH 1301 - Hood is a very sweet man who really wants to make sure that the whole class understands. He covers less material than some of the other 1301 professors because he moves slower. He trys to help the non-math BA students understand the concepts. ALthough I am a BA, I am good at math, and I thought the course was very easy. I seldom did homework, but I never missed a class. If you attend class and do some of the homework, there is no reason you can't get an A.   - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2005-12-16

Comments:Ideas - Mr. Hood is the nicest professor I have had so far at Baylor. He was the most patient and sweet man in class. He was so willing to work with us and answer any questions we had. He never checked homework, there were like 14 or so quizzes throughout the semester that were not bad at all, and the tests really were not bad if you payed attention in class. he always had office hours and he even made more during dead days specifically for our class so we wouldnt have to wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking him, he reminds me of my grandfather and he truly cares about all his students! what a refresher!  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2005-12-12

Comments:1309 - BUSINESS CALC - I had a limited calculus background, and what I had learned prior to coming into this class (the first half of the course or so) was easy, but once we started covering material that i had not learned in high school i really had to make an effort to learn this stuff. He's not great at explaining during class, but if you have any questions you can definitely ask him after class or during office hours and i actually think he likes taking his own time to help you understand the material. At first he seems kind of cold (mainly because he's very strict about being in class, being on time, and not wasting any time), but in fact he is very personable and he takes the time to get to know everyone. Don't take his class if you really need someone to teach you every aspect of calculus, but if you already have a calc background and just need a little help then he is the man for the job. His quizzes are doable, tests are difficult, and hw is not graded.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2005-12-10

Comments:Pre- Calculus - Prof. Hood is a great professor as well as a great helper. He is willing to work with you for hours on end until the lightbulb goes off. His class is exciting and he keeps you entertained with jokes and stories relating to the lesson. I don't really care for math, but thouroughly enjoyed this class! I recommend prof. Hood for ANY math class!  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2005-11-14

Comments:MTH 1309 - Dr. Hood is a wonderful professor who is willing to explain any questions, and teaches in a way that is easy to understand. I hadn't taken math for 3 years before I had this class, and was a little worried because it had never been a very strong subject for me, but Dr. Hood did a great job. I've never understood so much or done so well in another math class.  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2004-12-17

Comments:Business Calc - Hood really isn't that bad of a teacher, but he has a tendency to go off on tangents when you need to be learning the material for homework. Quiz every week, hw is assigned but not collected, tests can be tough but they come from hw and quizzes. I'd recommend him, but if you struggle with math take someone who teaches the material better than he does.  - Grade In Class:C+

Date: 2004-11-21

Comments:Ideas in Mathematics - Really nice guy...He's very interested in making sure you understand the point behind problems not just how to do them...looks like he would be mean, but is really one of the nicest guys around...easy weekly quizes, Tests are straight forward, very little work compared to other teachers of this course...I could have done better, if i had tried a little harder  - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2004-11-17

Comments:1301 - For a required class, it is actually interesting. Hood is such a cute old man, and although he does wander from the subject a lot, his class is easy. Show up on time, and all will be fine. He always takes attendance, but his tests are never on anything new  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2004-11-15

Comments:MTH 1301 - He's an okay teacher. He's really picky about being on time to class, so that can be bad if you are coming from far away. He never checks homework, but you sometimes need to do it just so you understand what he's talking about. The tests can be confusing, but they're not too bad. Take someone else, but if you do end up with him it won't be too bad.  - Grade In Class:B+

Date: 2004-10-25

Comments:ideas in math - SUCH A NICE MAN!! He is so helpful and patient! You have to pay attention and doing the homework will really help you!! He really wants to help you and get to know your name and what you need. Take this man's class!! Only downside is not alot of time in his office for extra help, but try the math lab!  - Grade In Class:A

Date: 2004-05-17

Comments:1321 - This professor is the nicest man ever!! At first he looked very strict, but he is very willing to help you if you ask him, and he takes time to learn everyone's name and to get to know you more than as just a "student." He doesn't check homework, but make sure you do it because it's the only way you'll pass the quizzes and do well on the tests. He replace your lowest grade with your final (if the finals higher). I have a B so far, but I have learned a lot and would definetely recommend him!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:Math - Professer hood is the best math teacher i have ever had, not only is he such a good teacher, he's the nicest guy you could ver meet. Doesn't grade homework, but if you do the homework you will most likely get an "A" or "B". Take this teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1301 - I made a B+ in the class, but his tests only have like 18 problems, so if you miss two then you already don't have an A. Sometimes his classes were so easy, it was kinda hard. Do the homework even though he doesn't check it and you'll ace the quizes. His tests questions can be tricky, he words things weird. Oh yeah, and he isn't patient, I don't know why someone said that, every single day he would yell at the class to be quiet, but nobody was talking, that was always kind of akward.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:Melvin Hood is AWESOME! I got an A in this class because I had taken Pre-Cal before, but he is honestly a very nice man with a great heart. He really works hard at preparing his students for Calculus and he is willing to work with you one-on-one which is great if you are too shy to ask questions. I really recommend him.

Comments:This is definately the best math teacher/professor I have ever had. He taught me more than any other. My first impression of him was that he looked like a strict man but he turned out to be the nicest and most patient man i have ever met. He cares about his students and I never saw him get upset once. Quizzes every friday and 4 tests, no problem as long as you keep up with the work.
