Comments:4335 - This lady needs a higher score. She is SO sweet and genuinely cares. She very thorough and her tests arent tricky they're very fair. I think she gets a low score because some students just don't engage in her class which is not her fault she gives plenty of room for engagement.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MGT 3336 - It is very difficult to stay focused on this class. It can be very boring and she posts all the slides. This was a great work period. I failed the midterm (62) and I still only needed a 67 on the final to get an A. GO to BAHR meetings!! easiest extra credit ever! She offers so much extra credit and the project isnt difficult to get an A.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4336 - I don't know why Dr. Wu has such low ratings. She is so sweet, and so knowledgeable about HR. The quiz material is boring but during class all we do is go over the powerpoints which is interesting. She gives 100 points for participation which is such an easy grade booster. She also invited all of us to her house for Thanksgiving which was so nice! Project was a lot but I made a 92 on the Midterm with studying the night before.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4436 - AVOID WU. She is very nice but her teaching is very dry. I sat in the front of the class and she yells while she teaches so it is very hard to be close to her. The project is not that bad but it is based on how everyone does. She ranks all of the presentations, so just hope you aren't last. The quizzes are kind of hard if you don't watch the clips but the clips are excruciating.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:4336 - There's almost no homework and a ton of extra credit offered. Class can be boring though. One huge team presentation and a midterm and final. The midterm is difficult but rely on the extra credit if needed. Attendance counts as a grade.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4336 - You have basically no homework. You have readings but they don't help much. She lectures off powerpoints. She has quizzes but you just have to watch her online videos before-hand and then take it. Sometimes they are challenging but really are not hard. Each table becomes a group and you have to do a 45-minute presentation over a case she gives you but you basically just have to teach the class whats in the packet and that's it. She only has a midterm and a final and those are hard but if you look at the powerpoint you can get a decent grade. It's a points-based class and she makes it so easy to get an A because she offers bonus points and she added random assignments that took 5 minutes and as long as you do them you get an A so you get free points. An A is 680 points but she offers a total of 740 so you're bound to be fine unless you never do assignments or come to class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4336 - Dr. Wu is one of the nicest and most helpful teachers. If you show just a little bit of effort or interest, she will love you. Her midterm and final are challenging, but if you look over the ppts, you'll be fine.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4336 - DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!!!!! Her lectures are very boring. She just reads slides. She does not have ability to teach. Worst professor at Baylor. Her exams are really tricky. Do not take her if you do not want to ruin your GPA.  - Grade In Class:DROP

Comments:4337 - We had a 25 minute group presentation that required a lot of time and work. We had a group written report that did not take too long because we split the work in the group. We had an interview written analysis that was a narrative and simple. We also had readings but these were not very heavy. The readings don't exactly match up with the lectures and that was a little frustrating; but they do help as background information for the lectures. I was able to understand her lectures but sometimes when class had been going for an hour her speaking does get a little hard to understand. There was one midterm and a final. Both of these exams were difficult but I never got below a B on either of them so they were not too bad. Study the PowerPoints and take notes on the examples and additions to the slides they help. Most of the questions I missed on the exams were important things she had mentioned in class and I decided not to write them down. She has participation grading where attendance and speaking up are counted. She also offers extra credit once at the beginning. She has a peer evaluation grade which is our grade as decided by our group according to how they think we performed on our projects. Overall I learned a lot from the class. I really enjoyed the material that was presented. Dr Wu is not the easiest person to understand but it was not incredibly difficult to understand her either. Dr. Wu is one of the kindest persons Ive met while at Baylor she is genuinely concerned that her students learn the material and go on to become successful. She's more than willing to help you with anything she can. This is class is a challenge but making an A is very possible.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:OB - Wu is not the best professor, and I wouldnt recommend taking her. She just reads directly off the slide in class (not even slides she made, they were pre-made), and then makes you do a group class assignment. Its a complete waste of time. She has a ridiculous grading system in which a 93% and above is an A, and an 90.5% and above is a B+. She could be knowledgeable about Management, but you wouldnt know that by taking her class.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:4337 - Not too hard to understand but still a bit of a challenge nonetheless. Class is SO SO SO boring, repetitive, and largely pointless though. I enjoyed Cox's class much more and got the same information. Lectures were purposefully dragged on to last the whole time when the information could have been delivered in half the time. Answering questions was seemingly unimportant to her because "in the real world answers aren't handed to you".  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:OB MGT - Wow! I never anticipated Wu having this low of a score. She is honestly not that bad. I was in a class of close to 10 students, and was very active when she answered class. She cannot stand people who do not do work, or participate. The kids she disliked most in class slept. That being said: Participate! Stay awake! Her English is perfect, albeit a Chinese accent. I never had any trouble understanding her. Yes. The class is boring. It's primarily psychology with management applications, with no homework, three tests, a final, and a group project (which is a pain if you have a horrible group like I did). The comments before me are overly harsh. Take Cindy Wu (Who... like from the Grinch?)... she's your best bet.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MGT 4337 - This woman is great. Take her! She makes class very simple... powerpoints! Also-- there is no language barrier. You can understand her, promise!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:OB - She is terrible! It's hard to understand what she is saying in class and all she does is read off the powerpoints. You think the test are going to be easy because the class seems easy, but she makes it very difficult. The project isn't bad at all, just choose a good group and do well on all the daily assignments. Show up to every class because that helps a lot. Oh, she grades a bell curve, which is the biggest cop-out I have ever seen. I had an 85 in the class but ended up getting a C in the class.   - Grade In Class:C

Comments:OB 3305 - LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!! I hated the way she just read the powerpoints... If thats all we need, I can read the book on my own time! There is really no HW, but the test are quite dificult. She grades on a curve, but this isnt a helpful one, and she is VERY slow on grading   - Grade In Class:B

Date: 2008-05-13

Comments:OB - Awful teacher, personification of why I dislike academia. Unneccessarily tough "buzz word" tests, bell curve distribution that ignores merit, hard to understand, and the worst 8am experience of my life. Can be friendly but is usually indifferent from my experience. Frustrating to dispute test grades with. Take someone like Norris, you'll be better off.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:3325 - This was one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Period. You can't understand anything she is saying and it makes you want to pull out your hair. She believes that American students are are not up to par with asians...on the first day of class she explained the bell curve (only a certain percent will get A's B's C's...) and when a student asked, "What if the whole class get's an A on an exam" she responded by saying "Thats what is wrong with you people. You need to learn to re-difine what an A is...she then went off on a tangent." Point being- FIND ANOTHER TEACHER.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:3305 - LISTEN TO ME, if you take this class: COME EVERYDAY. because there are daily assignments, worth 20 points. You can receive a perfect 150 points, allowing for a lot a room to screw up on tests. and I have to say, the class averages in her class was low... like 65's low... however with little effort you can receive Bs on the tests and the daily will carry you to an A. really, it was a pretty easy class, just come everyday.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3305 - This lady cant speak english. Her class is pretty much pointless except for the points she gives you for showing up and doing the in class group assignments which help your grade out alot. They're really easy as long as you have normal group of people working with you. The tests werent that bad if you just study the defintions of each chapter for the test. I found this more helpful on tests. I never bought the book either.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Organizational Behavior - This class is pointless for any major, whether it be management, accounting, or anything else in the business school. The teacher is one of my least favorites I have had at baylor. While she good for a few laughs because of her extreme Asian accent, she mispronounces so many words (aka. "transexual" instead of "transactional") and is extremely hard to understand at times. Many of her slides have a terrible color scheme to them (white text with a light green background) that makes them hard to read. She also picks favorites and looks at you like you are stupid when you don't understand a concept. Her tests are much more difficult than the material learned and she wants you to mark the answer that agrees with her opinion on certain issues. The good part to this class is that there is never any homework and there is alot of interaction with classmates because she has the class do group activities every day. If you miss the class, you can get up to 21 points off the total points for the class every time you miss, so don't be absent to her class. Would I reccommend her? NO. (Don't take Carolyn Mu either; they are like buddies and teach everything the same way).   - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:3305 - Dr. Wu is a nice lady but there is one problem. The language barrier - it is hard to understand what she is talking about because she doesn't speak english very well and she fails to pronounciate her words. She lectures right off the slides which is extremely boring. Every class you have a group project which is easy and helps your grade at the end of the semester. The only reason I wouldn't take her again is because of the language barrier.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:3305 - hard teacher!!! average on tests is about a 65-70. only have 3 tests that count for your grade. just lectures off of powerpoint notes. she curves at the end and absences and participation do count.   - Grade In Class:C+
