Comments:ENG 2301 - Dr. Calloway is by far the nicest and most caring professor I have taken. She always walks into class with a smile and wants to be there every day to help her students. The material can be difficult at times and when you do write the occasional essay, it can be time-consuming as it reflects the difficult material you have learned. Quizzes, however, are quite hard, and don't be surprised if you flunk one or two throughout the semester. And she does not do a super good job preparing students for the material that will be on the quiz as it is cherry-picked from the many pieces of poetry we are assigned. However, you can drop a grade at the end of the semester if you write an extra response paper, which helps a lot. If you read the material thoroughly though you should be fine and could squeeze out an A in this class as she has no problem answering any questions about the material. Overall, I would take this professor again.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:2301 - Dr. Calloway is very sweet and cares about her students, both educationally and personally. I suffered from severe health issues throughout the duration of this course and she was always very accommodating. Also, Dr. Calloway picks some of the most interesting works to cover in class, so there is never a dull moment. I personally loved Paradise Lost. I encourage you to take her if you have the opportunity.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:4332 - I had the pleasure of having Dr. Calloway for 'Milton' and she was WONDERFUL. I do not like, nor understand, poetry and John Milton is basically unreadable, but Dr. Calloway ended up making this class one of my favorites. She's interactive and fun and so so funny. In her tests there was some identification, but she makes sure to choose passages that give you hints. We even had to memorize a sonnet, which was daunting at first but then I enjoyed it. All in all, she's the best!!!!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3331 - Dr. Calloway is a very nice woman. She is brilliant, and she has a plethora of knowledge to share. She lacks organization in her classes. She also seems to be an extreme feminist and grades men more harshly then women. The amount of work required compared to the grade earned is not equivalent. I am an A student, and her quizzes and tests are absolutely ridiculous. She took five paragraph identifications from thousands of pages read and required you to identify them with very little context. She is a great person, but you can tell she just received tenure. Her grading just seems to equate to a graduate school course rather than a three thousand undergraduate course.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:ENG 3331 - Take Dr. Calloway if you can! I wish she had more courses offered, because I'll take her every time I am able. Dr. Calloway is the kind of professor you want to be best friends with. She is not only intelligent and a great instructor, she's also super fun and kind. She teaches some wonderful items on her syllabus and class is fun! Sometimes it's a lecture, sometimes group work. The lecture is basically her just chit-chatting with us about the text at the front of the room. It's a great discussion course. I learned a lot! As far as grades go, she has a few easy random quizzes, midterm, final, term paper, and a little presentation project. The presentation is easy and you get to choose a topic from a list. High school stuff, really. The midterm and final were simple to me, but some friends had trouble. You do need to review for it. They have an essay portion at the end, but she gives you the prompts before hand so you get to choose one and prepare for what you'll write. She also brought donuts to the midterm and coffee to the final because she's super sweet(: The term paper was a lot of fun to write, in my opinion! It's totally open-ended for what you want to talk about. Overall, I would definitely recommend her! She's one of my favorite professors.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1304 - Calloway is so awesome. I hate english but love going to this class. It is a research course so of course it is going to be a pain. There isn't much work outside of the papers that you have to write about every 3-4 weeks. The final research paper is long and detailed. Great teacher.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ENG 1302 - Sooo awesome! She is a grad student and sooo knows what she is doing. I was in AP english in High shcool, and this was a little repetitive for me, but if you want an easy A, take her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - She's a great teacher. Her class is pretty easy, but it's fun. Her sense of humor helps make the hour pass. I'm taking her again for 1304.   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1302 - Ms. Calloway might be one of the nicest teachers that you will find at baylor. She is young and likes to act all goofy sometimes and just have a good time during her class. She has tried to set me up with this girl in front of me the entire year and has become a running joke in the class. Overall do the reading and the reading quizes are an easy 100 or more. As far as essay's are concerned she is not that picky about content as much as she is grammar. Just get someone good to revise your rough draft and you should do fine. Grammar quizes or as she calls them "celebrations of learning" are either pretty hard pr really easy depending on the topicOh and the writing center is overrated, I never made below a 86 on an essay and never stepped foot inside that place.  - Grade In Class:B+
