Comments:CSD1305 - Professor Lori is definitely a little harder than the others in this department, but those who dropped the class honestly didn't put much effort in. ASL is easier than most languages and if you just do the book it's really not horrible. She is a tough grader but she gives extra credit and bonus points on tests randomly so she has some grace I swear. I would recommend her for ASL 1 as I feel like I have a very solid ground for ASL 2, that being said she has more workload than other profs but nothing compared to a science class. You can study the night before and you'll be fine, it's almost all vocab and she tends to act things out if she sees confused faces.  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:2301 - I felt other classmates were picked on and given a harder time than others. The course requirements were extremely unclear, I learned so much more in earlier classes when I was talking over material with classmates instead of just trying to read the professor's hands. I really struggled so much to understand most of the things said and got scared to ask towards the end of the semester. There was one time when the professor called certain people up to the podium for just them to see the answer to a question instead of telling the whole class the answer, and that felt extremely hurtful to the quieter people in the class and those who didn't get to ask once the professor had decided she was done explaining. This class made me decide to stop taking ASL.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1305 - She didn't really teach much and there wasn't a clear structure to the class. She expected you to learn by osmosis and relied far too much on the workbook especially compared to other teachers. She was overly strict on grading quizzes and those are virtually the only grades in the grade book so if you don't do well you are kinda screwed. She is a lazy signer which makes it difficult in a beginner class when she's taking short cuts that her students can't grasp yet. She is a sweet lady, but considering the all too common poor grades in her class, she was unwilling to identify the problem (herself).  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ASL 3 - Not sure how I made an A in this class. She is an amazing professor but she will never give you an easy option or take it easy on grading. She is strict on certain things and expressive assignments are where your grade will drop if you aren't one of the fluent students.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ASL 1 - Wrezinski is an AMAZING teacher. She is helpful, makes sure that you know what she is signing, and she genuinely cares about her students and their success. I'm already looking forward to take her again, since she is one of the main professors in the ASL minor. She can be a bit difficult on grading, but it doesn't take too much to do well. The only reason I didn't get an A is because I did not try hard enough at the beginning of the semester. She is awesome.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:ASL 4 - She is such a wonderful professor who truly wants her students to succeed. She is always willing to meet her students for appointments to help discuss their grade or confusions they may be having. But she did make ASL 4 harder than any of the other sections. It had a much bigger workload.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:1405 - Mrs. Wrzesinski is awesome! She is sweet, funny, and a very kind professor. She wants you to succeed and is extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend her for ASL I, I'm taking her next semester as well. Larry is an assistant professor as well and he's just as great as Wrzesinski. Learned so much from two great professors!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:CSD 1406 - If you're trying, she's going to help you succeed. This certainly isn't a blow off class, so study, but its ASL and she'll make you love it. She's super sweet, I had her for three months and never once saw her be mean, harsh, unfair, or irritable. She was a great start to my day, and a great Professor. I would recommend taking her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ASL 2 - Hard grader, sweet lady, fun to work with, and encouraging. I sucked at ASL 1 and hated it. But she helped me love it.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:Principles of Interpretin - I was expecting a lot more from this class, however, looking back I really enjoyed it. This was the first time I had ever had Wrzesinski, and I was a little intimidated, but she is one of the sweetest, most wonderful teachers here at Baylor. She really cares about her students and is very fair on tests. Make sure interpreting is something you want to do, though.. and don't slack off! This class DOES require daily readings and studying for tests! Love her!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ASL I - One of the best things you can do to succeed in this course is practice with a classmate. You can't really "study" ASL like you would your other classes; you've got to practice! Wreszinski is a an awesome prof, and will really work with you to help you succeed if you are putting in the effort. An extremely good professor--very helpful, excellent teaching ability, cares a lot about the students!   - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3310 - I've had Wrzesinski for ASL 3 & 4 & Principles of Interpreting. She's hands down my favorite professor at Baylor. Such a fun prof, very helpful & easy to work with. Modest workload, but I don't feel like she grades all that hard. You will learn a LOT from her, & it won't be a struggle!!  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:ASL 1-4 - Great professor. I had her for ASL 1-4, and then for interpreting 2. ASL 1-4 were particularly great. She is a hard teacher, lots of work, but totally worth it. she also has a great sense of humor. i learned SO much in her class and I would definitely recommend taking her  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:1406 - She's an excellent professor and really knows what she's talking (signing) about. Grades a bit tough, but she's easy to talk to if you have questions about a grade. She expects a lot from her students, but you will learn a lot. I would recommend her  - Grade In Class:B+
