Comments:MGT4320 - I am honestly shocked to see lower ratings for this class, but it seems that Dr. Meyer has changed the structure of the class since then. This is my personal favorite class I've ever taken at Baylor. The structure of the class is amazing as there are no quizzes and no exams. You do a simulation and then talk about it the next day, with a short reflection due on Sundays. These simulations are not graded based on performance like some of the other sections, so the class is very low stress. There are also a few papers throughout the course that are also very low stress in my opinion. I personally think Dr. Meyer is an amazing professor, and from what I have experienced and by reading past reviews, he listens to his students and actively tries to improve the course each semester. I have learned more in this class than most at Baylor and it has been a great experience overall.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4320 - I like Dr. Meyer a lot. He's a great guy, very personable, and his class structure is different than most. We had weekly simulations to do with one or more other people, quizzes due every Tuesday, a one page paper due every Sunday, plus we got graded on participation in class. Everything is pretty easy, it was really interesting learning about negotiating and you can tell this guy knows his stuff. Overall this was my favorite class. However, I would say that his availability is awful. He can be helpful, but there has been multiple times where he has never responded to important emails I sent. He only comes into the office on TTR too, and his office hours are by appointment only. He does make it very hard to fail the class as it is a point based system (i.e. 1400 pts = 100, 1300 = 90, etc.) so if you miss an assignment your grade will not go down. This is great, but unfortunately he is very strict on grading. We got two options for a final, I missed the option I chose, and he would not let me do the other option because "we were told to stick with our choices no matter what". I messed up, but it is still frustrating as literally the other option was not going to be easier for me in anyway and he just did not care. So, I would say he is a good professor, but you really cannot get much help from him and he is not very lenient nor understanding in certain circumstances.  - Grade In Class:C+

Comments:MGT 4320 - I had a fantastic experience in my negotiations class with Dr. Meyer. The most valuable aspect of the class was the practical approach to theoretical negotiation and behavioral science concepts. I appreciated how Dr. Meyer facilitated discussions and simulations that helped us apply the course material to real-life situations. I also appreciated the opportunity to learn negotiation techniques through role-playing exercises and case studies. Overall, Dr. Meyer created a collaborative and engaging learning environment, and I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in developing their negotiation skills.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4320 - Do NOT take Professor Meyer. He was very unhelpful in explaining anything in this class. He assigns these horribly difficult quizzes each week based on the book. The book is dense and each chapter is like 40 pages. Not a single person in this class that I knew was able to sit down and read the entire chapter before the quizzes. I am very smart but I have a heavy course load as do most students. These dumb quizzes should not determine my entire grade. Other than the book, there was absolutely nothing to learn materially in this class. It was great negotiation practice but that's all it should be.  - Grade In Class:B

Comments:MGT 4320 - Do yourself a favor and take Dr. Meyer for negotiations. The class itself was extremely easy. We read a chapter every week and then took a quiz due Tuesday and submitted a one page (or less) reflection due Saturday. We also had a negotiation every week where we were paired with someone in the class and were given a scenario on a website we used and negotiated through it. It was very straightforward, no quizzes, tests, or a final. Besides the easy class, Dr. Meyer is a great guy! He loves this subject, and I learned a lot from him. He is very experienced and had a cool story relating to every concept we went over. He loved getting to know our class and we did fun activities and case studies every week. 10/10 class and 10/10 professor.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3301 - I received an A- in the class. It is not hard to get an A in this class. I failed an essay and still got an A-. We have around 18 quizzes that are straightforward and easy, then we have 4 Essays that "Can be no larger than 2 pages." (with a loose format, and pretty straightforward). Then we have a Final exam. He just tallies the points at the end of the semester so there is not necessarily a % breakdown.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 3305 - This was the biggest waste of time. He taught possibly 2 times the whole semester. Yes, I got an A, but it was because I used quizlet, sciemce, and google. This class is a glorified psychology class because he asks us how we felt about the respective chapters for half of the time. He canceled at least 7 classes in the semester. Honestly, I think that he really cares about his negotiation class and uses this MGT 3305 class as a required course to receive funding for his research. He even said he had tenture. Chris, my parents work extremely hard to send me to Baylor, and you wasted their tuition dollars in full for your personal gain. I learned nothing from this course but received an A when I felt it was just given to me.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:BUS 3305 - His BUs 3305 course was very frustrating. He only taught maybe two days the entire semester and relied on the students to teach the entire material. While it was not an exceptionally difficult class, I found myself frustrated at the lack of correlation between what was taught in class (by the students) and the material on the assessments. The quizzes were frustrating for most students especially since you were not able to go back to the questions you already answered. They essentially became just a time crunch to see how fast you could copy and find the question in google. Prof. Meyer is not a bad guy, he is kind and passionate about the subject but his teaching ability is lacking. Overall if you could I'd try to avoid taking Meyer but it is not the end of the world if you have to take him.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:Leadership+OrgB - Professor Meyer is a nice guy who tries to be a cool professor and relate to his students. However, he only taught a total of like 3 classes all semester because he assigns groups to take a chapter and present it to the class. While some people may enjoy this, I didn't at all. I came to college to be taught by professors who are qualified to do so, not my peers every class period. Overall it is an easy class and good material to learn, but wouldn't want to take it again if it was set up the same way. No homework other than group projects/presentations and must participate in each class period. Final exam extremely long and was on canvas. It wasn't very difficult, but it took me forever to complete, i think i got a 90 on it.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - This class was great! He's very helpful and cares about his students. If you don't want to have a lot of hw, then take him. Most of the answers for the online quizzes can be found on quizlet. Nice dude, fun class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:3305 - For the intro to management course this class was extremely easy and I have never taken a business class in my life since I'm a science major. I took his summer session I online class and it was ridiculously easy. We had online quizzes which were super easy and four case studies, one due about every week. That was it. That was the entire class. No tests. The class average on every case study was like a 71/75 (95%). He might be more difficult for the 4000-level classes but I STRONGLY suggest you take him for 3305 if you want an easy A, especially for his online class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:MGT 4320 - Dude, this class is so easy. Its 950 overall points...like 855 for an A. You don't even have to go everyday, just days when there is an in class grade on the syllabus (you get day 1). Bam, 50 points. Participate in all the negotiations out of class with minimal effort, 200 points. Tests ARE NOT HARD. Dude, if you think these tests are hard you should really be at UMHB. This class is easy and EXTREMELY valuable to take. What you learn is actually useful! This class is great, you can't lose with Chris. Just one more time, IF YOU TRY THERE IS NO, NO, NO WAY to make below a B in this class.  - Grade In Class:A

Comments:4320 - Baylor should hire more professors like him. He is a great teacher and makes each class interesting. The tests aren't as easy as you'd think they would be but they're not too bad. You really get your moneys worth with meyer. Oh, and he's funny.   - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:neg - Chris is very personable and makes class fun. HIS TESTS ARE NOT AN ACCURATE MEASURE OF WHAT YOU KNOW. I studied very hard for his tests and could not do better than a c. They have 4 corredct choices...one is the BEST correct choice. His tests are awful. Chris is great.  - Grade In Class:C

Comments:4320 - Dr. Meyer is a very friendly, funny guy. He makes being in class as enjoyable as possible. My frustration with the class was feeling that I never could measure how much I learned. The in-class negotiations are graded very subjectively which can be frustrating. The reading quizzes are easy points if you read--I didn't and could never do well. He did give good life tips and was a good resource. I'd recommend him, but you'll probably have to do a lot of learning outside class on your own. Oh, the RPS tournament was genius!  - Grade In Class:B+

Comments:MGT 4320 - Dr. Meyer loves negotiation, however he lacks the ability to teach it. He puts some powerpoints up and reads them. The negotiations that we do in class are good to boost your grade and are fairly graded. However, when it comes to participation, he grades hard! I talked everyday and still got a 60% for participation. There are only 2 exams, and both are hard! There is too much information to cover on the tests. Essay is worth half and m/c is half. No study guide or help for the test. His words are: The material is there, find it! Stay away!!! Get McCormick!! Seriously, you will get an A.  - Grade In Class:D

Comments:4320 - Dr. Meyer is great! He is really funny and genuinely cares about his students understanding the concepts of negotiation. It was a joy to have his as a teacher. Baylor did a great job in hiring him. Take him its fun and isnt that bad. Alot of key concepts that will help when looking for job.  - Grade In Class:A
